Most people these days realise that the onlooker sees most of the game.  When you're sat in your own office, in your own company, surrounded by your own people, (good though they may be), trying to see the best way forward, everyone tends to see things in exactly the same way.
 
Sometimes we become, "institutionalised".  Making progress and implementing change can be slow, difficult - sometimes even painful - and not always successful.  You know what you want to achieve but you just can't get there.
 
Calling  a consultant is the obvious thing to do but which one?  Faced with such a choice it's important to get it right but so easy to get wrong.
